Local Data. Local Solutions.

Your business runs on
more than gut instinct.
Let's put the data to work too.

You don't need to be a numbers person to run a business that's actually working. I help small businesses sort through their sales, spreadsheets, and busywork, like a neighbor explaining it over coffee.

Working with farms, restaurants, shops, and local organizations across the Quad Cities.

How I can help

Five headaches I can take off your plate.

01

Sort out the mess

Got spreadsheets scattered across your email, your desktop, and three different notebooks? I'll pull it all into one place that actually makes sense, no computer science degree required to use it.

02

See it all at a glance

Instead of digging through files every time you want to know how business is going, I'll build you a simple screen that shows the important stuff, and it keeps itself updated.

03

Know your customers

Figure out who's actually buying from you, what's selling and what isn't, and where money might be slipping through the cracks without you noticing.

04

Get your time back

If you're doing the same repetitive task by hand every single week, there's a good chance I can make the computer do it for you instead.

05

A website that actually works

A simple, fast website or online tool built around how you actually run things, not some cookie-cutter template that doesn't fit your business.

Not sure what you even need?

That's completely normal, and exactly what our first chat is for. No pressure, no sales pitch, just a real conversation.

Say hi!

How we'll work together

A straightforward process from start to finish.

  1. 1

    Our first conversation

We talk through what's slowing you down and where you want the business to go. That's it, no pitch attached.

  2. 2

    Get a clear plan

You'll get a straightforward proposal: what I'll build, how long it takes, and what it costs. Nothing added later that wasn't in that first conversation.

  3. 3

    I get to work

You keep running the business. I'll send real progress updates along the way, not radio silence until the deadline.

  4. 4

Walk away knowing how to use it

Once it's built, I'll walk you through it so it's genuinely yours to run. I'm always around if a question comes up down the road.

Who you'd actually be working with

Your friendly neighborhood data person

I started Fig Data because too many small business owners and farmers I know feel talked over, not talked to, whenever "data" comes up. You know your business better than any spreadsheet does. I'm just here to help you see it more clearly, and I'll always explain things the way I'd explain them to a friend.

Based right here in the Quad Cities. Fig Labs is the side project studio where I build my own tools, the same care I'd put into building yours.

A Fig Labs product by Fig Data Co.

Why I do this

The Quad Cities has never been short on hard work.

This stretch of the Mississippi has raised generation after generation of people who show up early, work through the tough seasons, and build something real with their own two hands. That work ethic is not the problem. It never was.

What I've noticed is that a lot of that hard work is spent on things a computer could be doing instead, while the actual valuable stuff, the trends, the patterns, the little warning signs, gets missed because nobody has the time to dig through spreadsheets after a full day of real work. I'm a Quad Cities entrepreneur myself, and I started Fig Data because I believe the businesses around here deserve the same tools the big guys have, explained without the jargon and priced for a small business, not a corporation.

You've already put in the hard work. Let the data carry the rest!

Let's figure it out together. Free.

No jargon, no pitch, no pressure. Just a real conversation about what's working and what isn't.
